How much impact will Twitter have on the 2016 Election?

Will it help with getting out the vote for the candidates?

Will it help raise money?

Will it help mobilize volunteers?

Will it help draw crowds to events?

Well, it’s yes to all the above … but no one has figured out how much.

As of April, here are the latest results:

Trump: 7.58 million followers

Clinton: 5.93 million followers

Sanders: 1.94 million followers
