A Note to Those Weary of Political Conflicts, Election Defeats and the Biased Media

Many Christians feel tired, defeated and beat up – emotionally and spiritually – after 2018…

But remember – God is with us.

Let’s put our faith and trust in the One who is above the conflicts, above the defeats … and above the lies and deceit of the world.

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not get tired; they will walk and not become weary.” (Isaiah 40:28-31)

  1. Many frustrated Christians engage in reactive and hostile word fights with liberals. But our “righteous” anger does not fulfill God’s righteousness.

  2. Thank you. You are always so encouraging. You remind us to not give up the fight. Our God reigns!
