San Bernardino Islamic Terrorism: 7 Things You Should Know [video]

Another U.S. Islamic terror attack – this time in San Bernardino – has shocked America.

Here are 7 things you should know:

  1. The moral battle between Islam and Western civilization is escalating.

The battle between good and evil, between right and wrong, is heating up in America.

And President Obama cannot adequately strategize against ISIS unless he admits their motivations. Watch Sen. Rubio give clarity to this issue, here.

ISIS does not just want to govern Syria and Iraq. Their interpretation of Islam commands them to conquer the world and bring it under Sharia law. They believe they are commanded to perpetrate jihad against pagans. They will continue to perpetrate global terrorism and target Western civilizations in the name of Allah – until the apocalypse.

Jihad is not just driving terror groups. It is a rising movement of Islam. Although the majority of Muslims may oppose ISIS and the interpretation of Islam they represent, too many are radicalized, and millions sympathize or are indifferent to ISIS. Read more here.

  1. The liberals are attacking Christians and their faith – not Islam.

This is indicative of the left – disdain for people of faith and the importance of God in society.

Instead of ignoring solutions they disagree with… instead of respecting what is (at the very least) a sign of solidarity and sympathy with those who are grieving… they defame, scorn and attack conservatives and Christians.

This is the harsh reality of where our society is today. Take a look at these headlines:

Or take the tweet that went viral, slamming conservatives for offering prayers instead of calling for gun control:

“Your ‘thoughts’ should be about steps to take to stop this carnage. Your ‘prayers’ should be for forgiveness if you do nothing – again.” – Sen. Chris Murphy (D).

This tweet has been retweeted 17,014 times.

Here is Sen. Rand Paul’s reaction to the backlash: http://video.foxnews.com/v/4644139282001/sen-paul-offended-by-attacks-on-prayer-after-shooting/?#sp=show-clips

  1. “Disgruntled employee” is a myth.

President Obama has said that the attack could be terrorist-related, but it is still uncertain – it could have been “workplace related.”

Here’s what we know about the suspects:

  • Radical Muslims

Syed Rizwan Farook is a U.S. citizen of Pakistani descent, who recently traveled to Saudi Arabia. He was a self-professed Sunni, his coworkers said he was a “devout Muslim,” and his father described him as “very religious.”

Farook met Tashfeen Malik online, and apparently returned from his trip married to her. Malik lived in Saudi Arabia and is originally from Pakistan.

  • Planned Attack

Police say that the couple appears highly trained and organized for an attack like this.

Earlier that day, they left their 6 month old with relatives, saying that they had a doctor’s appointment.

It is recently become known that Farook was in contact with at least one international terrorism subject.

  • Weapons, Body Armor, and Bombs

The couple each carried an assault rifle. They were dressed in tactical gear. They escaped in a black SUV, in which police found bombs and ammunition. They wore vests stuffed with ammunition.

In addition to the bombs in the SUV, police found 3 bombs in the building where the shooting happened.

San Bernadino Police Chief: “They came prepared to do what they did, as if they were on a mission.”

  • Lights, Camera, Action

The couple had GoPro cameras strapped to their body armor to capture their “mission.”

  • Their Home Like an “IED Factory”

Police discovered bombs in their house, as well as explosives strapped to remote-controlled cars – a weapon unique to terrorist groups like Al Qaeda.

  • Reports of Suspicious Activity

A neighbor noticed the couple’s suspicious activity in the week before the attack. Watch the report here. Tragically, it wasn’t reported because the neighbor feared being accused of racial profiling.

  • Liberals Lack Moral Clarity

Hillary Clinton says the problem is gun control, not radical Islam. Obama also jumped to gun control and told the San Bernardino Mayor that “The entire nation is thinking about his community.”

They are afraid to call it out for what it is – terrorism perpetrated by radical Muslims who are driven by their faith.

  1. Need to fight the media and liberals’ call for gun control.

As usual, the liberals have immediately pushed for gun control following this tragedy – claiming that stricter gun control would have prevented it.

First, the right to “keep and bear arms” is a fundamental right protected by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Gun control erodes and violates this right, making it harder for American citizens to defend themselves.

Second, the right to bear arms is constitutionally protected for a reason. A free people should not have to wait for or trust in the government for basic self-defense. We need to allow concealed weapons. We need to get rid of gun-free zones. Good people with guns stop bad people with guns.

On liberal MSNBC, a liberal Senator has problems advocating and justifying more gun control… but tries. Watch here: http://www.msnbc.com/jos–d-az-balart/watch/senator–gun-law-loopholes-have-consequences-578627651635

Finally, government needs to stop trying to create a utopia where no one with evil intent can get a gun – that will never happen. Instead, it needs to focus on intelligence and counter-terrorism efforts. We need to be looking for suspects, sleeper cells, etc. before an attack happens.

France has severe gun control restrictions – that didn’t stop the recent Paris attacks. California has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. And much of the gun violence America has seen in recent years has occurred in states with the most restrictive gun control. Read more here.

Restrictions, even prohibitions, will not stop terrorists from getting guns – just as prohibiting certain drugs doesn’t stop people from getting them. Gun control is ineffective and dangerous: read more here.

Counterterrorism expert Dr. Gorka says that Americans need to be prepared to protect themselves in the event of a terrorist attack:

“Don’t wait for Uncle Sam to protect you; every American has a duty and a responsibility to be aware of the threat and be prepared to protect themselves.

“If you are in a state or municipality that allows you to carry a weapon, you should do so. You should get training, you should carry it, any members of your family that are prepared to do so, likewise… But more important than that, you have to have tactical awareness.”

Watch his interview on the Paris attacks here.

  1. We need to pray – for our nation’s protection and repentance.

Pray for the families that have been impacted by this attack.

Pray for the Chief of Police and law enforcement, who risk their lives to keep us safe.

Pray for God’s protection.

Note: This story is very personal to me. Some involved in this horrific event go to the same church I go to when I’m in Lake Arrowhead. Please pray for all impacted.

  1. I like your newsletters and scoop as we used to call that in the Marine Corps, and totally agree with the Biblical perspective on critical things like Christian persecution, gun control, erosion of morality, of the Supreme Court decisions concerning same-sex marriage, and the media liberal bias against anything biblical to include the right to protect yourself and your family through use of weapons . I might also mention our lack of political support for the country of Israel. I also Like to delve into American history and the Godly precepts it was founded on to include the “treatise of governments” iand the Bible of course. Keep up the good work. Jrl
