Bernie Sanders: Anti-Christian Bigotry and Intolerance [Shocking Video]

Bernie Sanders attacked every Christian and biblical belief in a televised Senate hearing:

What he said requires an apology to every Christian and to every freedom-loving American, regardless of their world view.

What he said was unconstitutional. And just plain wrong.

It all started when President Trump nominated Russell Vought as deputy director of the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Russell Vought is a brilliant economist … and a committed Christian – an alumnus of Wheaton College.

During the senate hearing, everyone expected the focus would be on his economic views.

But not Bernie Sanders.

Sanders went on an aggressive attack in Vought’s Christian faith.

Sanders called it “hateful”, “indefensible” and “insult.”

In the video below, you’ll see Sanders rage turning his face red as he accused Vought of being an Islamaphobe for believing what scripture teaches about salvation.

But Sanders’ intolerance is what stood out.

Vought would not back down on his Biblical beliefs and explained that he believes every person is made in the image of God, but that Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ is the one way to salvation and heaven.

Sanders displayed contempt and hate.

Look at part of the exchange:

Sanders: I don’t know how many Muslims there are in America, I really don’t know, probable a couple million. Are you suggesting that all those people stand condemned? What about Jews? Do they stand condemned too?

Vought: Senator, I am a Christian…

Sanders: I understand that you are a Christian. But this country is made up of people who are not just – I understand that Christianity is the majority religion. But there are other people who have different religions in this country and around the world. In your judgement, do you think that people who are not Christians are going to be condemned?

The discussion began centered around a blog post over Wheaton Colleges’ theological position on Muslims.

Sanders said:

Last year, Vought wrote a blog post in which he stated, “Muslims do not simply have a deficient theology. They do not know God because they have rejected Jesus Christ his Son, and they stand condemned.”

As you’ll see with video, Vought isn’t given much of an opportunity to respond on an issue that should not have some up.

You see Article VI of the U.S. Constitution says:

“No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

Sanders has no right to oppose Vought’s nomination based on the candidate’s personal religious beliefs. The senator’s position is clearly unconstitutional.

Sanders religious test violates the Constitutional protection we enjoy.

Indeed, by Sanders opinion, no Christian could hold office, not even Jesus.

The Word of God clearly says:

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God” (John 3:18).

And, of course, Muslims disagree:

Muslims, while they consider Jesus to be a great prophet, emphatically deny that he is the Son of God: “Jesus was no more than a mortal whom Allah favored and made an example to the Israelites” (Qur’an 43:59).

As Christians, we can’t back down from Biblical truth.

But opposition from Bernie Sanders and other liberal/socialists are escalating.

They believe in a tolerance for themselves, but intolerance for others.

They demand that Christians be quiet … Don’t vote your faith, say your faith or encourage others to believe your faith.

Watch this crazy exchange and tell me what you think.

About 3 minutes, see here.

  1. Socialism is the political version of the biblical antichrist. It comes in the name of ‘equality and fairness,’ and delivers ‘equality ot tyrany for all’ except the ruling elites whose vested interest is keeping their victims poor and dependent on government to maintain control. And because socialism is functional ‘legalized theft’ under the pretense of ‘good intentions’ and based in deception,’ it socialists must attack and silence the Word of God which commands that all things be based in truth.

With the post-1800s pulpits of America rarely admonishing their flocks of their obligation to aid the needy to the exclusion of government doing so, fulfilling the great comission, and opposing evildoers, the lie of socialism is easily merchandised to the needy. People who are needy due to socialism and neo-fascism. Add to that, our education systems indocternating students with socialism, and the GOP being infected like a cancer with regional and global engineering constitutional-deconstructionists posing as ‘conservatives,’ and its not hard to understand why a deceiver like Sanders made it into congress. Which occured because the vast majority of the 98 million claiming Christ in America find Christ worth talking about, reading about, and experiencing, but not worth representing in society and government to the exclusion of the sociatal and political pathologies destroying America.

I wonder if God finds it ironic that many of the people not finding Him worth representing in government enough to elect godly constitutionalists who would preclude socialism and attacks upon christians, pray to Him to save our government from the increasing corruption eventually bringing tyranny upon their own children and grandchildren? I’m not sure God rewards those not finding Him representing society and government with blessings. It would be more consistent with God’s nature to allow such people’s nation to be destroyed by there own inaction.

Proverbs 25:26 — A righteous man who falters before the wicked is like a murky spring and a polluted well.

  2. Well, obviously, Senator (if I may be so bold as to dignify him as an “American” senator) Sanders doesn’t know or care about Article 6 of the Constitution, which reads as the last half-sentence, and I quote: “; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” PERIOD. God help us with “leaders” like him! Vermont, you have my sympathy, because Kalifornicate’s Senators are about as bad.

  3. Belief in God does not simply make one a Christian. If so, Satan himself would be considered one.

What makes one a true Christian is adherence to Biblical principles (i.e. faith without works isn’t faith, and one will be known by their fruits). Since this is the case, it is fundamentally impossible for a Christian to:

    – hold or espouse any socialist, Democratic, or progressive political viewpoints
    – accept any Darwinian evolution theories
    – believe that personal inaction is acceptable when encountering any form of evil

To say that one is a Christian and a Socialist, or that one is a Christian and a progressive, or that one is a Christian and a supporter of Hilary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, etc. is, at best, a schizophrenically conflicting statement, and, at worst, it’s most likely a hypocritical or subversive statement.

Biblical doctrine is directly opposed to a progressive political paradigm (as commonly thought of as in ‘America’s progressive era’, circa 1880-1930+). To encapsulate it:

Biblical (and also US Constitutional) viewpoint of the human condition, thereby necessitating government:
    – Man is primarily an individual, and secondarily a member of society
    – Man’s rights are naturally derived from God, and they are determined upon natural law (characterized by timeless qualities)
    – Human nature is unchanging, and is pretty much the same no matter what time in history, so there are moral and ethical constants in the universe
    – Man is directly, and foremostly, accountable to God for his/her actions, and God will judge them on the basis of right/wrong or good/evil

Progressive (and also Democratic and Liberal) viewpoint of the human condition, thereby necessitating government:
    – Man is primarily a member of society, and secondarily an individual
    – Man’s rights are derived from the state, and they are determined by what is socially expedient (characterized by subjective qualities)
    – Human nature is constantly changing, and is evolving throughout history, so any morals and ethics are subjective to the time and circumstances of the current civilization
    – Man is directly, and foremostly, accountable to the state for his/her actions, and the current PTB will judge them on the basis of whether or not their actions benefit the majority

It’s important that true conservative Christians stand against anti-conservative candidates. More importantly, they need to legally remove and remedy political conservative imposters (as evidenced by their actions and voting records) that sadly make up much of our current administration (even/especially within the Republican party), because they promote an anti-Biblical world view.

It’s important that conservative Christians also admonish our leadership to remedy the problem of these Christian imposters that sadly make up much of our current church membership! American politics and religion are firmly grasped hand-in-hand, and anyone who can’t see that or thinks the two are separate concepts, well, they are, intentionally or unintentionally, critically ignorant.
