Ten years ago, Lauren Daigle auditioned for American Idol and was rejected by the judges…

They said she wasn’t “enough…”

God disagreed with the judges’ assessment … and showed her His plan for her life – a plan beyond her imagination.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, she said, “It’s amazing how a ‘no’ can be detrimental in one place and how much power it can also give you.”

Daigle won a Grammy Award for her album “Look Up Child,” and has also just earned 3 Billboard Music Awards.

In her Grammy acceptance speech, she said, “I just wanna thank Jesus for letting me be a part of this, that He’s put a voice in my throat.”

Daigle has now been invited back to American Idol to be a celebrity mentor for the 2019 Top 6 finalists.

Her positive energy – and her commitment to do all things with excellence – is having an impact on all the contestants…

And her consistency in her personal life and career show the power of God’s grace and love – a message many of her song lyrics testify to.

Before meeting the contestants, she posted her thoughts about Philippians 4:6-7, which says:

“Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

She brought a message of “what to do with anxiety” to her mentoring sessions. “It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life,” she says.
