Justin Bieber is not backing down from proclaiming the gospel.
He recently released an album not for the Christian community, but for his secular fans. It’s called Justice.
Artists joining Bieber for the gospel album included BEAM, Brandon Love, Chandler Moore, Pink Sweats, Judah Smith, Tori Kelly, and Lauren Walters.
Tori Kelly said, “So happy to be a part of this project. I love getting to sing about Jesus and his unconditional love for all of us.”
Justice is a little different…because besides his original music, the album features audio from Martin Luther King Jr. speeches.
Here are a few of the lines from the songs:
- Freedom:
“Sweat, blood, tears ‘pon the cross/Did you know He paid the cost for you?”
- Where You Go I Follow:
“On the third day, yeah, You rose up/And You beat death once and for all…But, Lord, You Always come and save me/God Almighty, my safety/You’re my end, You’re my new beginning”
- Afraid to Stay ends with a very pro-life scripture verse:
“You saw the essence of me, before I was formed/Before I existed, all of my days were written in your book/Psalms 139:13-16
Bieber’s transformational shift from a “bad boy” and an addict to an outspoken witness for Christ is powerful.
Now he’s even visiting prisons to share the gospel.

I don’t believe he’s a Christian at all – he may be trying to deceive people who aren’t discerning
I agree with Tracy.
Judge not or your will be Judged
It is hard to know the truth with some of these celebs. They might not quite know either. Sounds good, but who knows. I’d say the jury is still out on this one. Hope it is not just a phase, but true, and that he will mature in the Lord.
Justin has been saved by God’s Grace, by receiving Jesus who died for all of our sins. I rejoice in Justin’s choice to live with hope and love in this broken world. In Jesus Christ we are secure for eternal life. Never doubt what God has planned for you or me✝️There is
nothing greater than living in Christ.
If he’s preaching the Gospel and lifting up Jesus Christ, we should support and pray for him. You will know a tree by its fruit. God knows his heart and can use him to draw the unsaved closer to Him. May God receive all the glory.
False CONVERT
He is a new convert, so show him grace. Lift up a prayer for him for our God is able to use him. Saying unkind things will only push him to the other side.
Philippians 1:18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, …
