All around us this Christmas people are…
Broken… Hurting… Destitute… Homeless… Suffering from addiction… Trapped by anxiety and overwhelm… without hope.
And in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, many parents and grandparents are crushed by the loss of relationships with children and grandchildren.
Some of them are prodigals who have abandoned the faith they once had.
Many readers have parents, kids, grandkids, and friends who once walked in the light — but lost their first love.
Here’s a powerful song — by the Christian band Leeland — that reminds us to keep praying for all those who are without Christ at this time of year when we celebrate His birth — both those who have never known Him… and those who once knew Him, but later walked away from Him.
While we rejoice in the birth of our Savior, let us also take time to pray and shed tears for the lost… and to cry out to God for them to “Come back home.”
