Election 2018: Your One Vote Is Worth Five

Craig HueyElection2 Comments

How can a single vote be worth 5 votes?

Because in a primary election few people vote … giving a greater advantage to the best funded and the best organized candidates.

There are 2 other little-known facts that make primary elections critically important…

  1. If a state or local candidate receives more than 50% of the votes cast in the primary … he or she wins that election outright – there is no run-off for that position in the general election in November.
  2. Only the top 2 vote-getters in the primary appear on the November ballot. This means that if the candidate that best represents your values finishes in 3rd place in the primary … you won’t even be able to vote for that candidate in the general election in November.

For these reasons we are mobilizing over a million voters for this year’s primary season…

Our voter guide will be sent to you if we have your zip code.

If you’re not sure we have it, send me email at craig@electionforum.org and include your zip code.

We will also have our recommendations online…

I’ll let you know when they’re ready for you to review

Finally, I’ll be speaking at over 40 churches and groups between now and the June 5th primary.

I hope you can attend one of them…

  1. This terrible “Open primary” Law means that patriot Republicans need to rally behind one candidate in advance and not split the vote. We need a “pre-primary” now, in effect.
