The War on Home Schooling [Petition]

Killing home schooling is underway in a couple of states … as we’ve reported in recent weeks…

See Home Schooling: Who’s Trying to Kill It? here.

Thanks to all of you who signed our petition to save home schooling.

If you haven’t yet signed, you can do so here.

We also have a paper petition you can pass out at your church or group…

You can print one here: https://www.electionforum.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Stop-Ban-On-Homeschooling-Peition-Double-Sided.pdf

For Christians, home schooling is an important option to the indoctrination and brainwashing often done in the public, government-run schools. (See the article, “Shocking: Brainwashing Our Kids in the Schools” below.)

Usually home schooling is about superior academic achievements…

But football and baseball star Tim Tebow adds another dimension to its benefits.

He was homeschooled until he attended the University of Florida – a huge college with about 50,000 students.

In his 2017 book, Know Who You Are, Live Like It Matters: A Homeschooler’s Guide to Discovering Your True Identity, Tebow discusses how home schooling impacted him as he grew up.

He says his parents taught him and his two brothers and two sisters “love for God, love for one another” during their homeschool years.

“They wanted us to learn reading, writing and arithmetic, but it wasn’t No. 1. It wasn’t the most important thing. They wanted to instill love in our hearts, love for God, love for one another. They wanted us to learn a work ethic, a dedication.”

In an ESPN interview, Tebow said, “I still have such a heart to encourage the homeschool kid. To let them know that they are loved, and they are special. And they might feel different, and sometimes might feel alone, sometimes might feel afraid. There might be those times where you go through that.”
