Pastors, Ethics, and honesty

There are many liberal progressive pastors who are proclaiming half-truths and even fiction to make political points.

You see them in action from the pulpit. From their Facebook and twitter posts. At rallies.

And they are very visible on TV.

And it’s sad.

Probably just as sad is the fact that conservative and evangelical pastors rarely are invited and rarely are willing to go on TV to stand for what is right, moral and ethical.

But those who do, we applaud.

And whether the pastors are liberal or conservative, it’s critical that they have a high level of ethics and come across in a spirit of love and compassion.

The world is watching.

One of the liberal vocal pastors, is Bishop Royster. Watch as Tucker Carlson challenges him and his rhetoric that is not backed by fact or reality, that is simply rhetoric that is destructive, divisive and hateful.

What do you think? Comment below.

  1. At this late stage in the socialism of America it is almost impossible to turn things back to a time when the majority believed that “if a man not work, let him not eat”… and the church was the agent of welfare. Reminiscent of the saying, “about as easy as taking candy out of the hands of a baby” it will be difficult to put America back to work again and get people to stop thinking that the government should take care of them.

  2. Those claiming to be pastors and priests throughout America who teach lukewarm feel-good messages where Christians are not called to be Ambassadors for Christ within our government should be looking out at empty seats next time they teach their edited version of the Bible. Those attending churches where pastors and priests are not calling Christians to action must leave these churches because they enable these pastors and priests who are destroying America by not calling Christians to action.

Pastors and priests failing to call there congregations to replace corrupt government officials is what has Mexico infested with corrupt and murderous governmental leadership creating the hostile environment that forces Mexicans into America. Of course, it has been presidents Bush, Clinton, and Obama who deliberately left the border open for illegal aliens to enter. Like Mexico needs, American christians to stop finding excuses to not legally oppose corrupt Government or America will not survive. While the democratic politicians are 100% evil in the way they govern, the Republican Party gets worse every election cycle as it gets less and less conservative according to the constitution. The fact that democrats are causing far more harm to America then Republicans who are no longer conservative means America is being ruined slower by republicans who are not conservative, but the lesser of two evils will not save America.

The Bible warns that Christians effectively participate in the evils they have knowledge of but do not oppose. We are not allowed to remain silent about pastors/priests who edit the Bible by leaving out the commands to take action to save our nation from godlessness because such false teachers turn from their righteousness and commit inequity. Ezekiel 3:20: “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but HIS BLOOD I WILL REQUIRE AT YOUR HAND.

  3. Sigh! This whole interview was awful! This pastor should check himself and Tucker should have welcomed the Word of God. It is the Word of God that will show this pastor his err.
