As we enter this Christmas Season, business owners, corporate leaders, and government officials are informing their employees and the public to avoid saying “Merry Christmas.”
But we should not be afraid to say and to sing “Merry Christmas”.
That’s what the season is all about. Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.
In fact, for people of faith, it’s a time to spread the joy of the historic birth of Jesus Christ.
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” (Luke 2:10)
On the night of Jesus’ birth, the angel declared this bold pronouncement to a people who needed hope, peace, love … and joy!
For this Christmas Season, don’t be afraid to say “Merry Christmas”. After all, on this day we celebrate Christ our Savior, the Son of God born of Virgin, a baby who was born to die, and to rise again to grant us all His eternal life!
Listen to this great song to learn about how to fight the anti-Merry Christmas crowd this year!
