Doritos Controversy Explodes

Have you seen the Super Bowl Doritos Commercial?

The now famous Doritos commercial featured a pregnant mother and the father holding a bag of Doritos.

Every time the father ate a chip, the baby in the mother’s womb reacts in all sorts of funny ways.

Pro-abortion forces denounced this ad, because it “humanizes fetuses”.

Of course the commercial did, because fetuses are living beings. When more Americans recognize that the fetus is just as much a human life as the baby born outside of the womb, they will more likely oppose abortion on demand.

More research and development has confirmed that life begins at conception. The moment that a father’s sperm and the mother’s egg connect, the 23 chromosomes from both parents unite to form a 46 chromosome new life. All the inherited factors exist there, and the new life is immediately distinct from the mother.

By the fourth week of development, the baby’s brain, spinal cord, and heart have started developing. In 6 weeks, facial features emerge, and the skeleton has formed, and brain waves can be detected.

At 8 weeks, all the baby’s internal organs are fully functioning.

At 20 weeks, the baby grows hair and vocal cords!

The Doritos commercial didn’t “humanize” fetuses, because they are already human!

Of course, anyone who knows the Word of God—already knows that child inside the mother’s womb is alive:

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139: 1314)

  1. Absurd that they react that way. Shows how sensitive they are to truth getting out about fetal development. Of course the part about Doritos is fantasy but funny.

So now we have a bit of a delemna. 1st there was the rainbow Doritos in in support of not just LGBT, but also funding a radical LGBT supposedly anti-bullying group that actually bullies Christians.

& this cute, light hearted commercial that whether intended that way or not does humanize the image of the of course already living unborn baby.

The 1st was a definate political statement. This one? Probably just something that sounded like a cute way to promote their product.

For myself, I did watch the super bowl but rarely watch TV & I only buy non-GMO chips.
