Banning Christian Counseling Books — Maybe Even the Bible: 7 Shocking Facts [Videos and Petition]

The progressives across the U.S. are supporting a shocking bill about to be passed in California…

I need your help to defeat it – whether you’re a California or a non-California subscriber.

Its focus is stopping Christians from “fraudulently” talking about same-sex attraction and gender confusion.

The bill in California is AB 2943. If it passes in California, other states will no doubt introduce similar legislation.

We must not let that happen…

Here are 7 shocking facts about the agenda this bill is promoting:

Fact #1. Biblical Christianity is the Target.

While specifically attacking Christian counselors, this bill reaches far beyond the offices of therapists…

It affects a minister’s – or any individual’s – ability to:

  • Sell books on Amazon or in a brick-and-mortar bookstore
  • Provide conferences that from a biblical worldview encourage sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE)
  • Preach a sermon encouraging people to examine their sexual orientation or gender identity in light of biblical principles

Fact #2. Contrary to LGBTQ advocates, change is possible.

Those who have same-sex attraction or gender confusion can experience powerful change through the transforming power of God.

There are many Christians who have benefited from conversion therapy … who don’t believe it’s fraudulent at all … and they are speaking out…

AB 2943 would deny Christians who are struggling with same-sex attraction – and who want to get help to change those desires – the right to seek help from Christian professionals who are trained in godly counseling…

Watch these powerful testimonies (11 minutes):

Fact #3. AB 2943 advances a politically-driven, ideological agenda. Its statements are not based on facts.

The backers of this type of ideological legislation want to use the power of the state to force not only acceptance … but obedience…

Their mantra and agenda: “being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender is part of the natural spectrum of human identity.”

Therefore, everyone must be forced to accept and agree.

Fact #4. The coercive power of the state is being used to take away freedom of choice.

AB 2943 forces individuals to embrace their same-sex attraction even if they want to change!

They are not permitted – under this law – to seek the sexual orientation they desire for themselves.

How ironic that the “champions” of freedom of choice for women to be able to abort their unborn babies … wish to deny freedom of choice for those who are struggling with same-sex attraction or gender confusion.

Fact #5. Applying biblical Christianity is falsely labeled “consumer fraud.”

AB 2943 labels as “consumer fraud” any counseling or other ministries that provide options and hope for those struggling with same-sex attraction or gender confusion.

Watch a video explanation here:

Fact #6. Supporters of AB 2943 want churches to compromise and be quiet.

There is no such thing as absolute, objective, unchanging truth to those who believe in moral relativism – who believe that being LGBTQ is just as natural as being heterosexual…

Listen to Al Muratsuchi – California Assemblyman and supporter of AB 2943 – say Christians must be forced to change their beliefs:

Fact #7. AB 2943 can be stopped.

Please help us prevent this bill from becoming the law in California. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Sign our petition. We will present them to the key legislators … and will discuss our results with the press. Access the petition here:
  2. All those who sign will get the telephone numbers of the 5 key politicians that must say “no.”

Thanks in advance for your help.
