Millions were brought together in prayer after Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed on the football field. It wasn’t just the players on the field or the fans in the stadium but millions of viewers from across the country and worldwide watched the game.

Here are 4 things you should know:

#1: It was one of the biggest spontaneous displays of public prayer.

It was uplifting to see his teammates and other players drop to their knees, not in protest but in prayer, huddled in a circle around their fallen comrade.

After Damar Hamlin was brought to the hospital, another prayer circle of fans formed outside.

#2: What happened?

During a live NFL game, Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin collapsed after a hard tackle by Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. Hamlin got up but immediately collapsed from an apparent heart attack.

#3: Prayers on social media.

Millions took to social media to offer their prayers for Hamlin to recover.

Dion Dawkins Tweeted: “Prayer is power and Prayer is POWERFUL we need the world to pray for Damar Hamlin and his family.”

Tim Tebow Tweeted: “Please join me in prayer for Damar Hamlin.”

And over 42 million saw the Buffalo Bills post of the players huddled in prayer for Hamlin.

#4: Damar! Faith?

Damar Hamlin had a hard life. His father was arrested and sent to jail when he was a young boy, leaving his mother to take care of the family. She worked 2 jobs just to make ends meet.

Damar said he got through these difficult times through his faith in God. Damar once said, “My faith is in God. So, whatever he has planned for me, that’ll be it.”

The mainstream media and academia love to tell us that Christianity in the U.S. is quickly dying here in the United States.

Imagine their surprise at the millions who showed that belief in God is still strong in America.

  1. Now prayer is cool in the NFL…. So over this crap .. But Oh Tim Tebow was mocked all day long . Church, wake up and stop picking who you care about ‍♀️

  2. There were a few things that bothered me about this incident, but yesterday I watched Peggy Hall’s video pointing out some things that made me agree with her that it could have been a set up. We know that prayer works and that God is the Great Physician, but I questioned the miraculous question upon waking up from the coma, “Did we win?” To me, that sounded fake. I suggest that you watch Peggy’s video.

    1. I listened to Peggy also and I agree, some parts of that show were fake, such as the paramedics didn’t clear the space to perform CPR.
I don’t trust people’s perspectives on faith sometimes

  3. Why isn’t anyone talking about all these sudden deaths & cardiac arrests after the VACCINATIONS???

  4. He took the COVID jab. Record cases of “sudden deaths” & cardiac arrests in those who have been vaxxed!

    Why is this being reported???

  5. It is time for Christians to wake up and pray. Romans 13:11 “11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. ” We need to be praying now more than ever for revival in the United States of America.
