Is extending unemployment insurance a good idea?
I was just on TV the other day with Neil Cavuto of Fox Business. What we talked about was Obama’s call at the State of the Union to add more government spending, even for what seemed like a very good purpose.
Unemployment today is way too high, and it’s devastating millions of American families. Currently, 11 million Americans are still unemployed; 4 million of those for longer than 6 months.
The President’s economic policies–Obamanomics–are those that spend money at the government level instead of creating a business environment that will produce jobs in the private sector.
This has resulted in the President actually destroying real job creation and therefore obliterating the employment of millions of Americans.
You can watch the interview here. It’s about 5 minutes long.
What do you think of the extension of unemployment insurance? Let me know at craig@electionforum.org.
Prayer Point: Pray that sound economic thinking would enter into the minds of those leading our nation.
