The Race for President – Evangelical Poll and Candidate Update

Here are the updates for this issue, from a Christian perspective:

1. The Democratic Debate: Hillary and Bernie

2. Christians and the 2016 Presidential Race

1. The Democratic Debate: Hillary and Bernie

The Democratic candidates for President have had their first debate.

Hillary Clinton was the only candidate who performed well.

Martin O’Malley’s campaign appeared pointless, other than his admiration for Hillary. Lincoln Chafee also made no positive impression.

Jim Webb made some substantive points, but he complained more about not getting questions. He just seemed angry. And now he’s dropped out of the race.

And, Bernie Sanders made left-wing Hillary Clinton look reasonable and moderate! While Hillary’s stage presence was pleasant, Bernie Sanders was the yelling, crazy socialist.

Hillary Clinton even defended capitalism against Bernie Sanders. She defended American national security against Sanders and others.

We’re still waiting on old Joe Biden to interrupt the party.

Although Hillary was the clear winner of the debate, all the candidates showed that they are out of touch with the American people, reality, and vision.

The crowd was extremely friendly to the radical left policies being promoted.

Hillary Clinton played her Planned Parenthood funding and the War on Women cards. The crowd in the room went wild – but the American people as a whole are deeply divided over these issues.

Every single Democratic candidate on that stage is for killing babies… burdening the economy with more regulation, more taxes and a refusal to cut spending… focusing more on global warming than on helping working families.

2. Christians and the 2016 Presidential Race

The second GOP debate changed things for many evangelical Christian voters.

Some of the key candidates have dropped in our Presidential ?? poll, and some have risen.

We took a special poll before and after the second GOP debate in order to see how the debate changed evangelicals’ minds about the candidates.

We have two insightful statistics to share: how the candidates ranked among Christians before the debate, and how that ranking changed after the debate.

The second debate changed the playing field significantly for several candidates.

Donald Trump dropped from #3 to #5.

Carly Fiorina moved up, from #5 to #3. And Marco Rubio also moved up, from #6 to #4.

Ben Carson remained in first place, but lost 16% of his support. Ted Cruz came in second place both times, but he also lost some support (4%) after the debate.

Here are the results.

Ben Carson                                        42%

  1. But such a notion was soon set to nap when India batted.

If you note this example and pay attention to that this chalk wins fifteen away from thirty times,
you already know the favorite could be expected to win the rest and
so, any favorite going off at superior to even odds can be a profitable bet.
