Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina

Dr. Ben Carson (63), the retired neurosurgeon who boldly spoke the truth to President Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast in 2013, has announced he is running for President.

I had a good long discussion with Dr. Carson and he is determined to win.

His video announcement said:

“If America is to survive the challenges of the modern world, we need to heal, we need to be inspired and we need to revive the exceptional spirit that built America.”

“We have the fortitude to heal, the imagination to inspire and the determination to revive our American dream – one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. We can see this through

together with a leader who derives his strength from God and his duty from the American people.”

His announcement came in his home town of Detroit…with gospel music leading up to his talk.

And Carly Fiorina…another evangelical Christian, announced her presidential run this week.

Carly is the first woman to oversee a Fortune 100 company.

Incidentally, Iowa is the first primary. So far, Scott Walker (21%), March Rubio (13%), Rand Paul (13%), Ted Cruz (12%), Mike Huckabee (11%), and Ben Carson (7%) and Jeb Bush (5%).
