FOX News interview: Craig gives L.A. taxpayers a voice

The Los Angeles Zoo spent nearly $7 million of taxpayers’ money to build a new “feng shui monkey mansion” for three rare golden monkeys.

Many taxpayers see a big problem with that. First of all, the city is facing a $529 million deficit for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009. To add insult to injury, the Chinese government has now decided not to send the exotic animals, and the expensive monkey enclosure sits vacant.

FOX News interviewed Craig about this outrageous example of government waste. Click the Play button in the video below to see the news report and hear Craig’s comments.
