1. Do you support or oppose The Students Civil Rights Act (SB777) signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger last October? Why or Why not? Do you support or oppose the Save our Kids Initiative?
2. How would you reduce the state deficit?
3. To eliminate California’s soon to be $20 Billion Deficit, Do you support
   a. Raising fees, (If so, which ones?)
   b. Closing tax loopholes (If so, which ones?)
   c. Raising income taxes (If so, on whom?)
   d. Raise the car tax
   e. Cutting spending (if so, what areas of the budget and
       by how much?)
4. What is your view on abortion?
5. Do you support or oppose Governor Schwarzenegger’s proposed universal healthcare plan for Californians? Do you support or oppose universal healthcare for Californians? Why?
6. Do you believe that global warming is a problem? Do you agree with AB 32 approach to reducing greenhouse gases in California? Do you agree with Governor Schwarzenegger’s approach? Why or Why not?
7. Do you agree or disagree with the Supreme Court’s Kelo decision to allow cities to use eminent domain to take property from one private party and give it to another based on the ability to generate tax revenue? Why? Which eminent domain initiative do you support in the June election, Prop 98 or Prop 99? Why?
8. What would you do to reduce the tax burden?
9. Do you support or oppose the legislature drawing district boundaries for itself and the California congressional delegation? Why?
10. Do you support the current legislative term limits for state legislators? Why or why not? Was Prop 93 a good idea? Why or why not?
11. Should the Legislature address the high cost of gas in this state? If so how? Offshore drilling? More Refineries? Not our problem?

17. Is illegal immigration a problem for our state? If so, how should we address it? Fines for employers, more border fence, National Guard on the borders, fines for landlords, what?
18. Do you support or oppose Proposition 13? Why?
19. On balance, since its passage, has Proposition 98 helped or hurt education in California?
