Why Not Ron Paul?

Why should Christians not vote for Ron Paul? Here is a brief review on why he was rejected as the Election Forum candidate of choice.

I have known and worked with Ron Paul since the 1980s. He’s been a client of mine. I have helped him with fund-raising and his investment newsletter.

On economic policies, Ron Paul is unmatched. On taxes, he is a champion. His anti-abortion position has been consistent, despite the fact many libertarians disagree with him on the issue.

I’m glad he ran and will support his congressional reelection. But he is an educational voice, not a presidential candidate.

Also, his opposition to the War on Terror and his national defense stands are unrealistic in today’s world. In fact, his position has distracted and discredited his solid message. Because of this denial of the war we are in, I simply could not support him.

I still consider Ron Paul a hero. And I look forward to helping him promote his ideas on freedom and the economy.
